- What distance from the Thermal Pools are you?
- Hanmer Apartments is 1.2km from the pools & village - a 2 minute drive or 15 to 20 minute walk. We are close enough to the village without the noise & hassle of being inside the village. We do not have a pool or spa pool on site.
- Do we need to bring towels for the Thermal Pools?
- No, we provide free usage of pool towels.
- Do all 4 two bedroom units have ground floor entry?
- Yes all our units have ground floor entry, we have an access unit which has both bedrooms on a single storey, the 3 mezzanine units have a second bedroom on a mezzanine level above the lounge.
- What is the maximum number of guests per unit?
- All units can handle up to 5 people, the 5th person must sleep on a comfortable fold out bed. If booking for 5 people we recommend you book a mezzanine unit as it is slightly larger.
- What cooking facilities do you provide?
- We have a kitchenette that has a small benchtop oven, electric frypan, toaster, kettle & utensils for simple meals, for more information refer to our cooking page, click here. Please note there is no hot plates, pots or rice cooker. The cooking of strong smelling foods is not permitted in our apartments (e.g. curry, seafood and Asian spices), in order to avoid residual, lingering food odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests. Thank you for your understanding. We also have a BBQ available to hire for $5/day.
- What is check in / out time?
- Check in time is from 1pm & check out time is 10am - please adhere to these times as we are virtually always full & must turnaround all units within this allocated time.
- What is your office hours?
- 8:30am to 8:30pm daily
- What if I arrive late?
- Please advise us in advance & we will advise about key pick up for you and directions.
- Is a deposit required upfront at time of booking?
- No, not currently, we do check your credit card is valid at the time of booking, for our cancellation policy, click here.
- Is there alpine views from each of the 4 units?
- Yes, as we are outside the village, we are not obstructed in our views from the courtyard & backyard of each of the 4 units.
- Are the apartments quiet?
- Yes, being outside the village it is very quiet & relaxing. Our walls are all sound proof.
- Is there free parking?
- Yes you can park directly outside your unit.
- Can I charge my hybrid or electric car at property?
- No, sorry but our insurance company will not allow due to risk of complete electrical melt down. There are 2 electric charging stations at the Thermal Pools, ensure you have correct adaptor to use them. There are also 2 electric charging stations at Culverden which is 30 minutes drive south.
- Is there free WIFI?
- Yes, we provide unlimited free WIFI for each day that you stay.
- Is there free Netflix?
- Yes, we provide Netflix usage throughout your stay.
- Is there a laundry?
- Yes, a shared laundry is available 9am to 12pm & 3pm to 6pm for guests, costing $10, includes washer & dryer.
- Do you have a day spa on site?
- Yes, we have an in-house massage service available, prior booking essential.
- Are pets allowed?
- No, pets are NOT allowed on our property.
- Is smoking or vaping permitted?
- No smoking/vaping inside apartment, an outdoor patio for each apartment allows smoking.
- Do you sell gift vouchers?
- Yes, gift voucher details are on separate page.
- Are you Eco-Friendly?
- Yes, we practice Responsible Tourism & Sustainability.
